But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 1:7-8
On Sunday, August 18th, Elliott and I made the decision to dedicate our son to the Lord. We knew that God had given us this blessing, and we were declaring before our church that we were going to commit to raising him according to biblical standards. As we don’t have a “home church” at the moment, however, we weren’t sure where to make this happen and who we would have witness this.
Thankfully, we DO have a wonderful “community” of believers that came out to my parents house to celebrate with us. It was so wonderful to make that commitment and know that we have so many people who are praying and supporting us through our parenting journey.
